
Julie Brinkhoff
Business Services Consultant – University of Missouri
Julie Brinkhoff has given numerous presentations on accessible web design and accessibility requirements for Title II and III entities. She developed “Accessible Design is Good Design” as a tool for local communities and businesses in the Great Plains region. One of her primary areas of interest is developing materials and presentations that help individuals who do not have a technical background understand accessible design, why it is important, and how it improves useability of web content for all consumers. She also understands accessible design from the content developer’s perspective as she has developed websites, webpages, and other content using html and CSS.

Marie Cohan
State of Texas, Department of Information Resources
Marie Cohan a seasoned leader in digital accessibility, IT project management, and policy analysis with over 25 years of experience in technology. As the Texas Statewide Digital Accessibility Officer, She collaborates with national and state technology leaders, higher education institutions, and vendors to drive digital accessibility initiatives, working to remove barriers to accessing and transacting with government technology. With certifications in project management, scrum, digital accessibility, change leadership, business analytics, and business relationship management, she bringa a strategic and analytical approach to process improvement, compliance, and enterprise IT solutions. Passionate about innovation and social impact, She thrives on leading change, optimizing business processes, and advocating for digital inclusion.

Anna Montaldo
Missouri Developmental Disabilities Council
Anna Montaldo, a young adult living with cerebral palsy, is the founder of the social media brand “CP Life.” She graduated from high school in St. Louis in May of 2020, after launching CP Life in 2017. The President of the St. Louis region People First, a local advocacy group for people with disabilities, and the communications coordinator for the Missouri Developmental Disabilities Council.

Lainie Strange
State of Missouri – OA/ITSD
Lainie Strange is a Web Accessibility Specialist for the State of Missouri – ITSD Web Team. Her job includes technical web support for both the MO Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and Higher Education websites. Around 2003, she became involved in state web accessibility collaboration efforts across various agency web teams. After becoming familiar with JAWS screen reader through Missouri Assistive Technology, as well as expanding her knowledge of web accessibility techniques and law, she evolved into the web accessibility go-to person on the ITSD web team. Her position involves web accessibility testing, support, education, and outreach.

Ian White
State of Missouri – OA/ITSD
Ian White is a data analyst with OA-ITSD, specializing in Data Visualization.
He is known for his approachability and willingness to ask questions. Ian enjoys making data visualizations, even competing in the Missouri Iron Viz once . He was (somehow) able to graduate from BYU with a bachelor’s in political science.
Passionate about earning enough money to pay his mortgage and buy landscaping supplies for his wife, he will happily talk about data, books, nerd stuff, public policy, or anything really. He just likes talking.
When not making data visualizations, he enjoys reading and taking naps.

Brenda Whitlock
Missouri Assistive Technology
Brenda is the Coordinator of the TAP for Internet program and the iCanConnect (National DeafBlind Equipment Program) at Missouri Assistive Technology. She has 25 years of experience in serving people with various disAbilities, in assistive technology, case management, residential and employment services. She is a certified AT Professional (ATP).

A.J. Womack
State of Missouri – OA/ITSD
Dr. A.J. Womack is a Tableau Data Specialist for the State of Missouri. In his role, A.J. supports various initiatives across the State of Missouri by cleaning data, developing dashboards, creating administration protocols, and then training the end user on maintaining the established dashboards. A.J. provides technical assistance and training to nearly 500 Missouri’s Tableau User Group (MOTUG) members, which is accomplished through leading bi-monthly office hours, contributing to monthly MOTUG meetings, developing, and instructing in-classroom training, and answering emails and phone calls. A.J. has developed ARPA dashboards alongside the Governor’s Office and created a training reporting solution surrounding the initiation/implementation of Missouri’s new ERP system, MOVERS. Before working for the Office of Administration, A.J. was the Lead COVID Data Analyst for the Department of Health and Senior Services during most of the pandemic. In this role, he cut his teeth with Tableau by developing and maintaining many of the Statewide COVID dashboards and datasets. A.J. holds his Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Missouri.
