It’s Older Americans Month!

Older Americans Month is a time to recognize the contributions older Americans have made and continue to make toward the betterment of our communities.

This year’s theme is  Powered by Connection.

Connecting older Americans to assistive technology can have a profound impact that improves relationships, social connections, health and well-being. Assistive technology supports independence and aging in place and helps combat isolation, loneliness and other issues. From device demonstrations to financial loans and from our Telecommunications Access Programs to information and referral, Missouri Assistive Technology is a valuable connection in furthering the continued inclusion and contributions that older Americans make.
